Music Plug: Amariz/Jasmine Reign

Although I don't really make it a habit to slide out the free plugs, here's something I thought was pretty worthwhile. A band I used to check up on a lot was Amariz, a Houston-based outfit. For whatever reason I liked their sound a lot, but before they released anything easy to get, they broke up. This sucked, but now two of the members are doing something else entirely, called Jasmine Reign. Don't let the New Agey feel fool you; I've had the good fortune to get my hands on a preview CD, a beta of sorts, and these girls have some skills on them. It's pretty, it's hypnotic, it's really quite listenable. The page is on Angelfire, hence you may have to deal with popups. They're musicians, not web designers. It's worth the trouble. Give a listen, get the songs from the Amariz site, and you'll thank me later.
